Dr René Arnold

Dr. René Arnold is Head of Department (Markets and Perspectives) at WIK-Consult - Bad Honnef, Germany. WIK-Consult provides consultancy in telecommunications, OTT, postal and energy markets to both private and public clients. With his team, René focusses on investigating B2C and B2B ICT markets with a focus on regulatory impact assessment and novel ICT applications. It is his vision to make demand-side insights a core component of policy making. Previously he worked with the Cologne Institute for Economic Research. René has gained his first degree from Heilbronn University and holds a PhD in Consumer Behaviour from the University of Edinburgh. Besides his current position at WIK-Consult, he is a frequent speaker at national and international events, including a guest lectureship at the University of Edinburgh.
