Mr. Valentin Popoviciu is the Chief Strategy & Operating Officer and Executive Director of the Company. Mr. Popoviciu graduated from the Faculty of Economics Sciences at Ovidius University from Constanta in 1997. Mr. Popoviciu is also:
- Vice-President and executive director of Digi Romania (former RCS & RDS), a position he has held since 2015. Digi Romania is the group company which is controlling DIGl's overseas companies, for now.
- Executive board member of Digi Portugal
- Executive board member of Digi Belgium
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Popoviciu held the position of Development Director at Digi Romania (former RCS & RDS) starting from 1999, while being with the company since 1998. Mr. Popoviciu was re-appointed as Executive Director in June 2024 and his current term is due to expire on the day of the AGMS to be held in 2028.
